Jacob first started playing baseball at Town N Country when he was 6 years old. He made the All Star team as a catcher. He played spring, summer and fall ball at TNC before moving on to Forest Hills. Jake continued catching but added 2B to his tool kit and also began pitching. After three seasons at Forest Hills, Jake moved to West Tampa to continue playing baseball. Jake had an incredible season at West Tampa (.684 batting average, 13 hits, 9 runs, 6 R.B.I in 11 games) and earned a spot on the Majors Division All Star Team as a 9 year old. He participated in the Little League World Series with West Tampa though they were eliminated fairly early in the competition.  After a number of seasons at West Tampa, it was time to move on. It was time to be a Barnstormer!
